Independent Engineering, Inc. (IE) has completed numerous solar projects throughout Northern California for some of California’s top solar companies. Our jobs have ranged from small to large projects. We work with your needs, whether it is a photovoltaices (PV) trench for a roof mounted solar project, or grading, auguring, and building of the structure for a ground mount project. We are experienced and dedicated to complete your job competently and on time.

Not only are we experienced at ground mount solar projects, IE has the license and knowledge to trench for a Master Panel Upgrade (MPU). IE holds a Class A, General Engineering license. This enables us to do the utility services needed for a MPU trench.

We have built many ground mount solar fields, ranging in size. Although IE does not install the solar panels themselves, we build the structure to hold the panels when mounted to the ground. In order to do this, we grade the area that the ground mount will be built on. We then augur holes in the ground for steal pipe to be placed and concrete to be poured. The structure that holds the solar panels is built from each steal piece that is concreted in each of the augured holes.
