Northern California Solar Infrastructure
We have built many ground mount solar fields, ranging in size. Although IE does not install the solar panels themselves, we build the structure to hold the panels when mounted to the ground, and trenching.
Independent Engineering, Inc. (IE) is proficient and knowledgable in all aspects of Northern California solar infrastructure, which includes:
Master Panel Upgrade (MPU) Trench
Photovoltaics (PV) Trench
Ground Mount
Inverter Mount
MPU Trench
IE holds a Class A, General Engineering License, which enables us to do the utility services needed for a MPU trench. We work closely with the power provider to ensure our work is completed to their specifications.
PV Trench
IE digs the PV trench and installs the conduit which will house the electrical wire that carries the electricity from the ground mount to the panel/inverter.
Ground Mount
IE augers the holes for the pier poles and concrete. Once the holes are aguered, we install the poles and pour concrete from which we build the array.
Inverter Mount
When required, IE builds a ground mount for the inverter to be attached to.
